A self mapped adventure out to the Munda Biddi Trail. Went for a bit of an explore around the Mangles Bay area of Rockingham. I bought this kayak second-hand and it was in a bad state of repair. By the time I finished with it, I had brought it up to near new condition.  Went for a paddle with my sister on the upper Canning River. Started from the Kent St weir and headed up river from there. This was my first long paddle. It ended up being approximately 14kms and the first time I came close to dolphins. We had a family trip out to Wave Rock. On the way out, we went via Donnybrook, so Joel could have a play at the Apple Fun Park. We then travelled on to Lol Gray State Forest where we stayed for a night. Finally we made it to Wave Rock, where we explored the rock and local area for a couple of days before heading back home. |
