This    is    who    I    am!

My Name is Mark McIntosh, but everyone calls me Macr.
I was born in Western Sydney and grew up in Baulkham Hills. I then joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 1989 and have subsequently lived in the following places:

  • RAAF Wagga Wagga, NSW
  • RAAF Williamtown, NSW
  • RAAF Tindal, NT
  • Hamilton, NSW
  • Bar Beach, NSW
  • Merewether, NSW
  • Mayfield, NSW
  • Mawson, ACT
  • Fadden, ACT
  • Hackett, ACT
  • Rockingham, WA
  • Mawson Lakes, SA
  • Harrison, ACT

My main interests lie within exploring Australia, via whatever means I have available, including:
  • Motorbiking (Adventure/Enduro)
  • 4WDing
  • Hiking
  • Camping
  • Photography (Especially, Australian architecture).
  • Kayaking
  • Cycling

I am also a bit of a geek at heart, so enjoy lots of geeky things. Finally, I enjoy Australian history. Predominantly from the First Fleet, to the early 1900s.

Most of this bike, including the paint scheme, is the same as my original bike. Main differences that I can pick out, are as follows: * Different stem * Different Saddle * Different handlebar grips

These were the first clipless pedals that I installed on the Diamondback. Look S2 Nevada's. I bought these from Universe Cycles (Parramatta), in the early 90s. Most likely 91 or 92. I knew clipless would be the future and have clipless on every bike since.
