This was my first proper ride after getting my learner's licence. I started out on Mulligans Flat Rd and turned onto Tallagandra Ln. The causeway there had some water running through it, which made for an exciting yet nerve-wracking first water crossing on a motorbike. After successfully navigating it, I continued along Tallagandra Ln until I reached the blacktop of Murrumbateman Rd.
Following Murrumbateman Rd brought me into Murrumbateman, where I spotted a water tank adorned with a mural of two Gang-gang cockatoos. I took a short break here to appreciate the artwork before heading out onto Dog Trap Rd for the return leg home via Hall to quench my dry palate. While it was an enjoyable ride, it left me wanting more dirt roads to explore. This experience made it clear that I’d be seeking out longer, more challenging off-road adventures in the future!
