When I first started designing a T-shirt for my blog, I chose to feature a compass rose overlaying a front sprocket. The sprocket had a spline that matched with the countershaft of a motorcycle engine, and I thought it looked pretty good. I also decided to include the four cardinal points of the compass, symbolizing my goal to travel to all corners of the country.
Happy with the design, I sent it off for printing and received the shirt last week. I figured I’d take a photo to show it off. Since then, I’ve gotten some feedback from a fellow photographer, Paul Wutzke. We brainstormed ideas and refined the design into what it is now. Now to get V2.0 printed!
